So many resources are available today for personal growth and healing. I am a big fan of those that can be easily accessed from your phone via an application. I’ve tried many over the years and like to find free apps – try before you buy! The following are my favorites and all three are available on App Store for Apple or Google Play for Android devices.
This application touts itself as the #1 free app for sleep, anxiety, and stress and offers over 100,000 meditations for free. I would agree. The Insight Timer app provides the widest range of meditation and related listening at no charge. I use it primarily to aid in falling asleep but recently upgraded to the paid app. Even the paid app is extremely reasonable and offers more courses and access to specific live events. I follow instructors Glenn Harrold and Kenneth Soares but scores more are available in the app. You can take yoga classes or listen to music, too. This is by far my absolute favorite app. I am amazed at how much is offered at no charge.
The Tapping Solution
Several free meditations are provided in The Tapping Solution app using EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) tapping. Both ancient and modern theories are the basis using Chinese acupuncture theories as well as psychology practices. Stress and anxiety are reduced significantly through consistent practice of EFT tapping.
The paid app offers many more topics on which to tap, but the free meditations are a good way to start and try the technique yourself. Often additional free resources are provided once you sign up for their newsletter. Currently a free on-line Tapping World Summit is offered with 25 free meditations. Sign up for it here:

Similar to the practice of brainstorming, slips of paper or cards are randomly activated and accessed via the app. Select a card at and follow where it leads you.
Over 200 cards containing thought-provoking words and phrases are available in a shake of your phone. The cards contain a variety of words, quotes, images, actions, and questions, any of which leads to creative ideas and progress. A starter pack and a vision pack of cards are available for free. Additional, more specific, card packs can be purchased. This might be just what you need when your creativity stalls. Plus, it’s great fun to shake and see what comes up!
